Last week, I had the opportunity to speak with the Women’s Chapter of Commercial Real Estate in Oklahoma City. Founded in June 2016, her membership in CREW-OKC includes brokers, property managers, appraisers, attorneys, architects, lenders, engineers, developers, and escrow officers for all aspects of commercial real estate. welcomes women in CREW-OKC is an affiliated organization of CREW Network. In recent years, the Real Estate Program at Central Oklahoma University has focused on increasing real estate opportunities for women by fostering a welcoming environment that offers club leadership, program scholarships, and internship opportunities in the industry. increase. CREW reflects this mission and commitment, focused on impacting the commercial real estate industry by promoting the achievements of women.

According to data collected by the CREW Network and the MIT Center for Real Estate in 2020, women made up 36.7% of all commercial real estate professionals. In 2020, the average fixed base salary in commercial real estate is USD 112,290 for men and USD 100,802 for women.
